The first semester was so new. Even New South seemed new to us then. I took all the photos that are yellow and bad quality, and some of the ones that are good, but those would be with Stephanie's digital camera.

Jennifer is pretty! Her brother, the artist, took this photo.

Alex is a sexy beast. He enjoys threesomes and studying chemistry.

Jon was bet $5 to drink a bowl of Sweet and Sour sauce. He lost the bet.

The long hallways in New South are perfect for wheelbarrow racing! Here Lucia is driving, and I'm falling. We loose in the first round.

Duct Tape is useful because the walls of New South are concrete. This is Steve.

We had a "Battle of the Floors" one weekend. For one event there was a pie eating contest. Natalie doesn't like sexual jokes, so I won't make one. I think we won the battle, but it got too competitive and the fight in the football game ended the event on a downturn.
Go 4th Floor!

A while back there was this thing called a hurricane, it was kinda rainy, and there was no damage, other then the entire lawn being torn up. Strange. This is Ana and Alex on top, then Beth, Steph, and Jenn.

September 20, we piled into the Jetta and drove down to the Occoquan River for a crew regatta. This is Amy, Caroline, Nat, Emilie, and Me, Ana, and Steph. Photo would then be taken by Jenn. Jennifer is at the regatta too. Amy sleeps out in the wilderness. Ana is scared of photos. Or me. Or the spider I put in her hair. Just joking, that was Steph.

Here's Jenn and Nat. Nat is from up the street from me, craziness. Nat is ticklish. She told us this. We tickled her. The picture was hard to take because she wouldn't stand still. I tried skipping rocks. I think they sank. I am sleepy too. Ana was really proud of this photo. Check out the staples I used to make the shirt short sleeved.

Oh, and there were boats at the regatta.

Howard Dean came to Georgetown to make a speech about economic policy. He was 30 minutes late so I had to leave as soon as he started to run as fast as I possibly could to my Middle Eastern Civilization midterm.

Jennifer likes macaroni and cheese. I went to Costco for supplies and bought Kraft macaroni and cheese. I should have bought EasyMac, cause Mac and Cheese needs milk, so it was always an adventure trying to find milk at 3 AM to make some food. Note the awesome hat.

This is Alex Reish in a dress. Maybe he doesn't want me putting this on the internet.

On October 25-26 I went on ESCAPE, which is an overnight nonreligious retreat thingy. Kinda like camp without the ropes course.
More photos can be found here, look for one of me getting s'mores.
Here Father Pat has one of his famous sing-alongs. John is with him being trained cause Father Pat is leaving for Seattle next semester. The better photo is off their website.

A bunch of us were killing time out on the lodge's patio, and some one started taking photos. Later we took a big group photo. I'm on the left side of both.

Halloween was lots of fun.
Here's some pumpkin carving. This was going on while I was on ESCAPE. 1st Colin is cleaning out the pumpkin, then he, Jenn, and Nat plan it out, and then the final result. Dirty South refers to our dorm, New South, which is dirty. In fact the morning after Halloween was by far the dirtiest morning all year.

Here's Me as a Priest. I was going for The Exorcist connection, but the priests don't dress in any special way.

Here's Me, Amy as a good fairy, Nat as the "woodsy butterfly fairy", and Rufino as himself, the CIA agent. The second photo is Natalie by herself.

Ana and Carolina are dressed as an Indians, as in Native American, they're Brazilian, so I think it's still PC. And Alex is weird.

Colin is the jolly green giant. I didn't really understand it, but I don't think it has to do with canned corn. Gaurav the mummy. Most of Gauruv's costume ended up on the common room floor. Jennifer is downright spooky. I bought her the wig and it looks great. The second photo I'm with Jenn. At this point in the night I moved from Father Pat the Priest to Papa Pat the Pimp.

On Saturday November 8th, I had to get up early and call home to get my mother to pick me up so I could take the car out for the day. The project of the day was "The Big Hunt", a city wide scavenger hunt for Georgetown freshmen. I'll spoil the surprise and say we got 6th place, which was fine since there were 7 prizes, and we got the one I wanted, which was courtside basketball tickets to a Hoyas game at MCI center, see below for photos of that.

Here's Jon, Ana, and Alex planning out the day on a map of DC. The Jetta was wild. We had six kids to fit in there. I don't recomend it. It doesn't fit four, or five, or six. But we all survived. Ana had to sit on Alex, and her hair was stuck to the roof with static electricity.

One of the things we did on The Mall was trying to hula hoop for up to 50 rotations, each 5 worth one point. I got 3 rotations. They gave me a point anyways. Stephanie got a lot of nice photos of us walking around The Mall, with monuments in the background. In the first two we look like such strange refugees.

In front of the Lincoln we gathered around the new Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. plaque. Too bad Steph couldn't be in the photo, as she was taking it. I'll see if I can't get a copy of our victory photo, which has all of us.
