Pajama Party

So I'm done. What a finish. I'd say it was a flaming fireball of a finish, but the car's been on fire since lap 450. And the driver's pretty burnt out. Here the photos from our seriously last party. Video of Amanda getting ground. It was chill, I didn't really do any work for it this time, so that's all good. Still don't have the rest of the lingerie photos though. Winter break, here I come.

Soire Lingeri

For our last (official) party of the year we hosted a kick ass lingerie party. I don't know if I can put all the photos online, but here are some.

Twister Party

We'd decided to host another party for Friday, December 2. After bouncing around ideas, we settled on a twister drinking game party. I'd say it's the most successful party yet (a great omen for next week). First people got here 11:20, last left at 4:20. The idea of drinking twister was that you'd spin the color dice, spin the foot/hand/left/right wheel, and take a shot of blue (Hpnotiq), yellow (Limoncello), red (Remmy Red), or green (Apple Schnaps). So the longer you stay in the game, the more shots you take. The game got out of control. No one knew what order to go in, or who was rolling for them, or what foot to put where, and what shot to take. It degenerated into a pillow fight, which I'd like to say I planned for, or at least quickly fueled. That degenerated into tickiling and wresling. That degerated into putting ice down each others shirts. Then we mellowed out, smoked some hookah, made some more holes in the carpet, and watched Sin City.

Also, check out Amanda's photos of the night.

Spin the Bottle Party

Now while I was chilling (no pun) in Albany, Alex hosted a spin-the-bottle party in our apartment. With my alcohol none the less. But like a good protege, he took pictures. Finally some girl on girl action in our apartment.

Rensselaer

Friday November 18 I flew up to Albany on a ticket I'd originally purchased to go to Pittsburgh in order to see Sugato. I made a pilgrimage to my dad's freshman dorm room at Crocket 307. We saw some Potter. Hermione got boobs. Sugato performed in Diwali, a big Indian dance show, on Saturday night. Watch him dance! It look up most of that day what with the pre-performance and afterparty. Sunday we drove out to these lung shaped lakes that were pretty. Here's the good photos.

ps. Try googling "hermoine" and "boobs".

Danielle says... "genocide's not so bad"

Yay Danielle! She made it into the philodemic. Huzzah, or whatever they say. Nock nock nock! Here's some insulting photographs that she may have me take down, plus video action of our buxom sweetheart!

Pumpkin Carving Party

Alex Johnston and I, and Reish too, hosted this pumpkin carving party Sunday night. We had jack-o-lanterns to carve, bobbing for apples, chocolate fondue and fruit, and hookah. It was our first attempt at a party in the apartment. We'll do real fondue next week, and then, and keep this quiet, lingere party, in three weeks. Who else could host it? Clay? Kober 6? Boswell? I mean Colin could. Anyway the pumpkin carving went great.

4 Day Halloween Extravaganza

Every day this weekend is Halloween. Friday was Halloween. Saturday and Sunday are Halloween. And then Monday is Halloween! Here's some photos from Saturday. Alex was a desi porn star, or something like that. I'm a bum, which didn't require much work. Gaurav is a Bengal tiger from the motherland.

And, if you haven't heard, I'll probably be in Turkey next semester. Here.

Happy 21st Amy

Yay for surprise parties. Yay for turning 21. Amy's sister flew down for this, and Amy flipped when her sister came down the stairs. It being around Halloween, Amy dressed as a birthday candle. Beth, who DJed, dressed, and acted, as a freshman girl. Owen here is a crazy dancing white boy. Noreen and Danielle came as the roommates from the Dell commercial. And Noreen taught Danielle the Malone family handshake, but it might just be from Don't Be a Menace.

Fall Colors

Alex Johnston saw this tree, and brought me out to take a photo. That building there is of course the oldest standing building on Georgetown's campus, built as stables, it's now housing internet servers.

Hpnotiq

Gaurav, Nick, and Jay hosted a Hpnotiq party October 14th. Six bottles gone. The lighting was just faaaaboulous!

The Green and White Above them All!

Sally came up from Virginia Tech, and came with Alex and Alex and I to Eastern Market where we got a huge tapestry for our living room. Afterwards, Sally had to walk her dog, Snuffy, so we all went home to McLean to walk the dog. We walked around Cooper and down into Churchill Road. This was a good way to spend a fall Sunday. There's good video here of Johnston on the horsey. Wheee!

Redskins, 3-0

Go Skins! We beat Seattle 20-17 in overtime after the Seahawks kicker, one Josh Brown, hit the upright with one second on the clock. And I was there!

Sufjan Stevens is cool

Probably the most beautiful concert I've ever been to. He'll get you to forget where you are with enthusiasm and acoustic stylings. This was the first concert I've been to alone but I met Sam and his friend Jason, who's a youth minister in Herndon, and they were awesome. I eventually got lost on the metro with Jason. Half Handed Cloud opened and was very silly. Look how Sufjan came out! His rendition of the star spangled banner was a piece I've waited years for. They called themselves The Illinoise Makers and wore identical outfits. Watch them cheer for Decatur and Jacksonville!

Our Own Red Light District

Gene had brought Christmas lights for the Jazz Party, and we procured some afterward to add more craziness to the ceiling. Photos of that to come. Alex had fun with the red lights we put up. In the second one he looks like a flying spaghetti monster.

Ar! This be awesome!

Jazz Party

The Jazz Party could have been run better. It was also depressing not to have a date this year. Then again, I didn't ask anyone till Wednesday. My bad. Here's us on the futon, and there's Reish's butt getting the attention it deserves. And fucking Gaurav! Notable about that photo is that it was taken right before Gene and Danielle left for Deutsch's party. Oh, and Alex "demon eyes" Johnston and his Jocelyn together, lets see how that goes.

Fireworks

This is our night time view of the skyline out our balcony. The fireworks were for labor day last week. See a video. We were concerned for the planes. Obviously none crashed.

The apartment

The apartment is awesome. Village A E402. We put $181.09 into it from Ikea yesterday, this is after we got the futon. Alex Reish's parents provided us with lots of stuff. Plus everything we've all brought. I think it really looks nice. Still so much to do. Alex had me fill out the scene, and don't I look nice.

Sumer Alvarez

Walking though Reynolds the other day I saw and was momentarily disappointed that they took down my photo, the one of Healy. But then I was thrilled, cause they had a bunch of Sumer's photos. Sumer died. She was in my photo class last year, she always rode a long board skateboard and was cool like that. Look at the top left photo of Village A, it's awesome.

Luau

Clay had a Luau party. I lent him my tiki torches. Zedge did fire twirling, which was hot. Check the video. After the party, we went for some grilling society burgers at Healy Circle. I thought it was cool that they were out there at 2 am.

Moon

If you haven't noticed, I'm getting lazy and running out of photo space. So I'll try blogging this year. It seems like the thing to do. Personal websites are so old I'm told. If this doesn't work the way I want to though, I'll just have to buy my own .com.

Chalking

Alex and I thought it would be clever if, below our balcony, we made a little work of art. I chalked him, and then we thought some cones we be good and we grabbed some caution tape from the Davis Center construction site and check it out. His last touch was getting some tomato juice to splash around the head.

Alex and Emily

Alex, my roommate, and Emily look so cute in my chair. This is after we partied at Kober 6, and Gene called Colin, who came back with us and we all partook in Gene's new favorite pastime before collapsing in our cushioned and starlit room.
