Back at Georgetown. Got time to recover from the most intense single season of my life. So far, it's been weird it's all the same but so different in a sad tragic something special has been lost kind of feeling. Georgetown isn't as special as last year, because I know everything and I'm just going through the motions for getting up and going to class. Also I need to figure out what to do with my life/time here, but I think that can wait just a little bit longer. New ones at the bottom.

I took some photos of my first hookah session of the new semester. We laughed at them an obscene amount on the little camera screen, but in retrospect you may not see the sophisticated humour that we did.

On September 4th, Jennifer, Natalie and I went to see Cake at Merriweather Post Pavilion. There three openers who were, eh, mediocre. Jenn and Nat thought some of the singers were cute, but we all thought it was a damn long wait through all of them. Here's a photo of one of the openers, the Graham Colton Band, then two of Jenn and Nat singing along to Cake, and finally one of Cake themselves. Wonderful concert that made a really good day great.

Also, check out a clip of one of their brand new songs they played for us, this is No Phone.

Healy is scary! Check out this photo from a dark and stormy day. NOW AWARD WINNING!

Alex is a dragon. Wrrarrr! Watch him blow sparks. And, the one you've all been waiting for, a posed photo of me. And Alex is a terrible photographer.

José Maria Aznar was president of Spain. But they blew up the trains in Madrid, and now he teaches at Georgetown. He spoke on September 21 about his lifelong struggle with terrorism. It was pretty good. And though his English is fairly limited, it was a better argument for the war than any Bush has ever given.

Alex bought 50 lighters for $2 at a Michigan flea market. Oh those Michigan flea markets. The lighters are an endless, at least till they run out, source of amusement and theatrics. Here's video proof.

I went down to take a roll for photo class by the canal. This shot just wouldn't work in black and white, but fortunately I had my digital handy.

My first Hoya photo shoot of the year! Here's two I took for an article on the Georgetown Independent Film Festival, which, alas, is no more. The place took me forever to find, and we didn't have anyone to let me into the place, so I took one through the window. The other is of their broken window with fliers pasted over it. Also, here's a link to a photo I took last year.

Oh, and here's a bird.

October 17 The Faint came to town, and I was right there. I got three photos, two with the crowd, one of the oh-so-talented Todd Baechle, and a video of their new song, Phone Call.

Exclusive! Here's a clip of their cover of Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads.

Here are some random ones from around the dorm. Shout out to Sarah Weichert who needs constant photos.
First, check out the photo I took for Christian's facebook profile. See Alex Reish in all his glory. Then notice Gaurav's butt, followed by Gaurav's girlfriend.

Now try and figure out what's going on in this first photo. Just look at it. And when you're done with that I'd like to introduce you to my neighbor Keith.

Check out another photo I did for The Hoya here. I went to the Mates of State concert at the Black Cat, but unfortunately no one from The Hoya thought to telephone (or if they did...) but they didn't have a spot for me. So I talked to the attendance people, who brought me to their boss who brought me to the manager who let me go backstage and take photos of the band. Backstage, by the way to those who see it as a sanctuary of rock gods, is a shit hole. The worst lighting ever! And the office only gave me the wide angle lens (imagine a paparazzi lens one foot out of the camera), which meant I was on the other side of the room to take head shots and they all came out blurry. I screamed at Meg the whole show, but she never turned around, once she looked a little sideways, but a good shoot. Also, check out a free MP3 of their new song, Goods.

My roommate Greg (pictured here as Sagat) suggested at the beginning of the semester that we locate the old Street Fighter movie. Preferably illegally. So I looked it up. I found a cool picture of Ryu. I spent some time, and made it into my facebook picture. Frank Vargas though it looked cool. So I did one of him as E. Honda. Hilarious. Then the requests came in, and this is the final product.

These are the two best photos from Halloween, the rest were total crap. Greg's girl, the one he experiments on and pines over, is seen here in a cat suit. He's decided that it's best to be really rude to her, call her bitch and flat out tell her he wants sex. It worked well for a while, and we the viewing friends got lots of kicks out of it, but she hasn't called here in a while. On the other hand Yumi did call me on Halloween. And that was that. Here's a photo of her. Note the pin I'm wearing. That's for pledging Delta Phi Epsilon, the Foreign Service Fraternity. That was fun, but it consumed my life, which I didn't like at all. But now I'm in and can reminisce about how fun it all was and how there was never any pain.

Let me introduce you to my other neighbor, Travis. This is a weird floor, let me tell you. He was hyped up from the 80's dance party in his room. They practiced the power thrust (which goes for maximum distance) as well as the rapid fire thrust (you get the idea). He's seen here with my belt that he was whipping Greg with.

This is the view out my window. Roslyn with a 4 second exposure. Notice the sky is never black and there's never any stars over the city.

This is my paddle for the fraternity. No comment. I upped the contrast to make it more legible.

Did you know pedistrain runovers are increasing in Georgetown? Well, thanks to me Jennifer is now the pretty face of the epidemic in The Hoya.

Here are a four photos I've taken for my photography class. In order: "Low, The fallen Ones!", "ride", "the eternal optimist", and "bonfire".

The DPE christmas party was the best party I've been to all year. It was close to the reason for which I said I pledged, which is this vauge idea of me and all my closest friends enjoying this exclusive atmosphere while sitting around drinking fine drinks, with doting freshman all around. Good times, here's a photo of me, Gaurav, and Kaiser, and a bad one of me and Happy.

December 10th was drunken because Ocean's 12 would have sucked. Here some of the night's participants: Erin, Seth, Christian and Danielle, and Anthony, all in stunning glory.

After drinking from Christian's quafs (see Danielle) we ordered eighty wings and looked stupid eating them.

And as a special bonus: Gene. He likes cunt. Watch him go! And since we lost the movie of Gene humping, here's Alex quafing.

First a beautiful sunset out our window.

Minutes before I left for winter break we decided that we needed to throw all the old useless stuff from the past semester out the window. Apples, vodka bottles, milk, coke cans. And then also anything that happened to be in the common room fridge. Greg and Jae smile/heil with their objects of destruction. The main target was the white van parked outside Leo's. It suffered our wrath. As did the roof of Leo's.

Here's my final photography project entitled "the Concept". Photos are in order: 1, Ready; 2, Leaving; 3, Traveling; 4, Sanwaree; 5, a ring. On the surface it is about a man going to propose to his wife.
