Ah, summer. I'll be working on campus this summer, so I'll be seeing kids all the time I figure. Maybe get to a few DC baseball games, see some movie, work a whole lot, and then travel! Plans! Summer! Dandylions! Updates at the bottom
First photo of the summer, and who is it of?
Haines Point is an awesome place I remember from my childhood. It's a big place to run around, and there's this statue there, of a giant, called The Awakening made by J. Seward Johnson, Jr. for some city wide event 20 years ago. I took Maggie there, after some trouble. Check out her photos here.

Carlos, Andrew, Elena and I went out to Chili's the Saturday after school was totally finished. Andrew and Elena had me take photos of them two. Here they are.

May 22, Chris and I drove up to Philadelphia to see U2 in concert. Paid waaaay to much for tickets that said you couldn't bring cameras inside, when in fact you could so sorry I have no shots of Bono. I asked a woman who did have a camera to email me her photos, but alas, she didn't. So here at least is our proof that we went and a photo of the ridiculous line we got to wait all day in.

My cousin Ross got married on memorial day weekend, so we drove up to Tarrytown, NY for the event. The place was very nice, but it reafirmed my committment to indoor weddings, as Ross had it outdoors and it did rain on the wedding. But that's not all bad, in fact it's considered good luck. I got to see Katie, and realized how much I got in common with her. Should check up on her more often. Anyways, here's some photos, including a family shot of my dad's family (minus Uncle Bill for certain reasons). Here's a clip of the wedding band's greatest success. Yeah, but it was fun.

Jason organized his friends to go out to Cafe Divan, a Turkish resturant in Georgetown. I got to see Ethan again after many years, and as it turned out he campaigned in S. Dakota for Daschle with Pat Sullivan, the kid who is determined to live in my appartment next year as soon as someone moves out. Also there was a giant pig across the street.

Tuesday, June 7th, we had penguins in the office. Yes, penguins. Here's proof.

So you want an explanation? Why did we have two magelian penguins in our conference room? Well, they were being brough from SeaWorld in Texas to DC to be at the opening of a new National Geographic film, "March of the Penguins," go see it. The man incharge of moving the penguins has a sister who works in our office, so before taking them downtown for their big red carpet moment, he stoped by her office, and the Hoya Kids daycare center downstairs. Awesome, huh.
Now, just some randomness. Here's two of Sally, and two of a pretty summer sky over my house. So maybe there was less blood in the original photo, but this looks cool, and isn't all that far from what it looked like that evening.

Here's some photos from two of Pierce's barbecues. Check out Praveen!

Christian Deluigi invited the fraternity up to his Alpaca farm in Harve de Grace, MD the Saturday before July 4th. Sweet sangrea, volleyball, a big poarch, great weather all made the day successful.

Alright, I'm seriously gonna make a movie. But first here are two photos I took while scouting meadows.

July 23rd we had a dance for the International Relations students (one of the high school camps I'm involved in the running of). I got Beth and Natalie to help out a lot, and with their MAD DJ SKILLZ, it was a blast. See fo' yo self! Look at Tracy go!

After that, I went over to Pierce's cause he had three kegs at his disposal, and no one to drink it. We invited the Belgians (from another camp) and they came solidly, which was awesome. After the party died down and we were sufficiently lubricated we set out on a trip through the tunnels, under Healy, through the fountain, and into various comfy dry articles of clothing Piece had, so probably the best night this summer. See if you can read where Pierce swears not to push Elizabeth (as she's having me call her) through the fountain.

We also barbecued for the Belgians. Here's a nice series.

Caroline came up to stay at my house for a few days on her pilgramage to World Youth Day, and to see Ben Folds. I again went to see Rufus Wainwright, who headlined this time, and hear him talk about how he had gay cowboys with their little penises on his vest. Look closely or don't. Check out the opener, Ben Lee, walking on the crowd, which was pretty fun. The highlight of the show might have been Ben Folds' rention of the Dr. Dre classic, Bitches Ain't Shit. And per tradition, listen to Ben Folds play the crowd, Rufus' new song, Sonoma, or hear him introduce Gay Messiah. Take it to the streets baby!

Dude. It's Nicole. She's on a roof in a thunderstorm. And a ridiculous one of her brother, Dan that I just had to put online.
On August 17th I hosted some hookah/pool, cause neither was getting enough use, especially when there were friends to see. Jason got the bright idea to get some soap and a straw, so I found some industrial sized hand soap and a turkey baseter and we went at it making smokey bubbles.

It's taken a while for these to see the light of day again, but here's Maggie and I fooling around at the Canal.

Same for these of my trip with my dad up to Niagra Falls and Toronto. There is video of the falls here and here. Turn sound up to fill volume to appreciate effect.
