I caught Woody with my gnome bag one day shortly before the start of Junior year, out in the wilds of Seven Corners, Virginia.  He was missing an eye, and perhaps this was the reason he was alone and vulnerable to capture.  I quickly found a replacement, and his one magical red eye has since become his trademark.  "Woody" is actually his nickname given to him by Maggie, and I believe his full name was Cornilius Mercury, though my memory fails me, and he only responds to Woody.  His silent sential kept E402 safe through many parties, and after I decided to go abroad, I attached a carabeener to my gnome bag, and fixed him to my backpack.  This would prove a precarious place for a gnome, in partucular his divining rod.  Abroad he discovered a new world, and he renew his ancient heritage as a mevlana dervish.  He would serve as a proxy at first, posing for photos when I wanted to take one of myself with a partuclar landmark, but he later developed a taste for sightseeing on his own, and has made independant travel plans for the future.
